Hi, my name is Julien, a trader with 15 years of experience and a deep interest in algorithmic systems. Over these wonderful years, I have seen and explored nearly every possible approach in the game. Within that timespan, I got to understand and separate what truly works long term to what only looks good on paper.

I got introduced to trading by one of my former bosses who was a copy trading enthusiast using Zulutrade. Watching him chase the best available strategies out there and discussing about it for so many hours taught me something essential: this industry is full of traders but most importantly, gamblers. I chose to become a trader, learned discipline, manage my money better, compare my results to the previous ones and to seek ways to always improve upon them. I because the trader I am through testing and measuring results, over and over again.

Outside of trading, I work in the building energy business, which has shaped my rigor and work ethics, transparency and respect. Values that I intend to keep within my writing on this very blog.

I created Neural Trading to offer beginner and intermediate traders a place where expectations are realistic, information is trustworthy, data is traceable and progress is based on a methodic way to work… Not a promise of insanely fast profits.
